A. Power Clean + Strict Press: 15 x 2; rest 60 sec (try ~65-70%1RM for all) 115 for all
B. Back Squat: 15 x 2; rest 60 sec (try ~65-70%1RM for all) 255 for all (HBBS)
C1. Bulgarian Ring Dips: 3 x 4-6 @3121; rest 60 sec 3x4: these were tough and made me realize that I did the ring push-ups last time these were rx'd and not dips.
notes-elbows out to side even with torso, only to 90 deg elbow bend; add wt. if able
(it should look like an iron cross with a 90 deg bend at the elbows)
C2. Strict Feet Elevated Ring Rows: 3 x 2-4 @50X0, rest 60 sec 3x4
notes-make challenging @Rx'ed rep range, contact ribs w/rings, scaps back
Pretty discouraged with the press. I warmed up with a bit and put 135 on the bar, cleaned it, and had to fight tooth and nail to press it. I know we have not focused on pressing, but, man that sucked. I'm thinking of keeping a dumbbell at my stand up desk at work and knocking out sets of 5 here and there. Any thoughts?
